For the second year in a row, Cody Walker has claimed the Easts Tigers Patrons Trophy for Best and Fairest.

That success came despite missing the first eight weeks of footy due to a shoulder reconstruction.

It was a decider that went right down to the wire but for the Easts Tigers the final few moments were filled with despair.
When prop Mitch Garbutt surged over in the 68th minute to level the score at 20-all, Easts looked to have momentum on their side as the match headed to its climax.
But the Cutters managed to stay composed under pressure and edged ahead with field goal from halfback and former-Tiger Matt Minto.
FOGS Cup secure back-to-back titles

The Easts Tigers have claimed back-to-back FOGS Cup premierships following a dominant display against a spirited Ipswich Jets in today's grand final at the North Ipswich Reserve.
It was always going to be a tough ask for the Jets to upset the minor premiers – but they put in a good show early in both halves, before the weight of defending took its toll as the Tigers finished strong to win 40-18.
The Tigers were made to work hard for their points in the first half where some good goal-line defence kept out their advances.
Colts clinch 2013 premiership

Having run neck-and-neck all year – it was no surprise the FOGS Colts Challenge was a closely-fought game – with the Tigers coming out 26-16 victors over the Redcliffe Dolphins.
Often going end to end, it was an entertaining game – but in the end, it was the Tigers strong defence which proved the difference.
The Tigers got the first real opportunity in the opening half to attack in good position and they took it, with prop forward Tom Dempsey opening the scoring in the third minute to crash over.
Walker signs with the Storm
September 10, 2013: Ethan James
Easts Tigers five-eighth Cody Walker is one step closer to fulfilling the childhood dream after agreeing to a one-year deal with the Melbourne Storm earlier this week.
“(Playing NRL) has always been my goal since I can remember. Hopefully through hard work over the pre-season I can get there,” he says.
“Melbourne is the best club in the competition and I see a real opportunity there to play first grade.”

May 31, 2013
The Easts Tigers are breaking new ground in the digital media space with the launch of an iPhone and Android mobile phone application.
“We believe we’re the first Intrust Super Cup club to launch an application of this kind. It allows supporters to have a wealth of information in the palm of their hand and to keep in the loop with the club regardless of their location,” media officer Ethan James said.
The app contains the latest news from TigersHQ, weekly teams, draws and results, access to live games scores via Twitter and Facebook and match highlights and interviews.
